Excuse me Sir/Madam, I'd like to see Jesus! John 12:21.

Dear Diary,
For some years now I have been working as a receptionist/secretary. Almost every day people come to the office, "Excuse me madam, I'd like to see the boss." I then ask them if I may know what it is about, who they are and then offer them a seat and then inform my boss that 'Mr. Xyz' or 'Madam Abcd' wants to see him in regards to this and that. On one occasion a City Council Askari came and when I asked him his name, he threw his driving license at me. I don't know if he wanted me to know he is a rich man with a car or what but I didn't care to check the name. I handed back to him his DL and told him to go in (that's story for another day). Well, some people think that receptionists are the most mean people in an office and they can decided to tell you book an appointment and come another day. That's quite frustrating but let's shelve this for a moment and shift our focus to John 12. Six days before Passover, Jesus came to Bethany at Lazarus' hood. Dinner was given in Jesus' honor. Then Mary poured an expensive perfume on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair and th house was filled with fragrance. Meanwhile a large crowd found that Jesus was in the hood and came to see Him and the resurrected Lazarus.
The next day He was on His way to Jerusalem and people took palm branches and went out to meet Him. Now, there were some Greeks who went up to worship at the festival(Passover). They came to Philip of Bethsaida, with a request. They said, "We would like to see Jesus." Philip went to tell Andrew; and Andrew and Philip in turn told Jesus.
Dear born again Christian, the world is hungry and thirsty for Jesus. They want to see Him. They want to see Christ in us, the Hope of Glory. Are you willing to show them Jesus? They need us to offer Christ as an experience; a practical encounter with Jesus Christ who will answer their felt needs. And when they have an encounter with Him, they'll never be the same. You have an opportunity to show people who Jesus Christ is, what He does for and in them when they accept Him to be their personal Lord and Savior
Yours faithful scribbler,
