I am seriously disappointed by the current news of sexual immorality in Kenya. It is not FUNNY. We have been laughing about it.
I
strongly believe that the heavenly host are not laughing about this so
we the CHRISTIANS especially, shouldn’t laugh about it either.
It’s
time to go on our knees and ask God to spare us. Take this seriously
people. It is not funny. We SHOULDN’T LAUGH ABOUT IT ANYMORE, none of
the Heavely HOST is laughing about it- only the devil and his demons.
Those of us who are posting this as FUNNY JOKES, kindly and with all due
respect, stop. it is NOT FUNNY. Men/women having sex with donkeys,
chicken, dogs, cows/bulls, sodomy, fornication, adultery,
homosexuality/lesbianism- this is not a JOKE.
When we
become proud, a door is then opened within our lives to sexual impurity
and shameful lusts. If we do not turn and repent, we will be ultimately
be given over to a depraved mind. We may continue in these shameful lust
and sin while justifying our actions as common human weakness.
ROMANS 1: 18 The
wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness
and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,…
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God … but
their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
…24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts
to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and
served created things rather than the Creator....
26 …He
gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural
sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also
abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for
one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in
themselves the due penalty for their error. …32 Although they know
God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they
not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who
practice them."
It saddens me that we are justifying these unrighteous actions in the name of HUMAN RIGHTS.
I
humbly call on those caught up in the unnatural sexual relations to run
to the Mercy Seat. Those who are approving that God wired someone to be
a homosexual/lesbian- THIS IS A LIE FROM THE DEVIL. Those who do SUCH
THINGS deserve death, also those who APPROVE those who practice these
sinful acts.
If God wired anybody to be a homosexual or
lesbian then He owes an apology to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. He
owes an apology to the 23,000 Israelites whose bodies were scattered
over the wilderness… they committed sexual immorality and in one day
23,000 of them died. 1 Corinthians 10:8
But He is God. He doesn’t contradict Himself.
Leviticus 18
lists the unlawful/unnatural sexual relationships including
FORNICATION, ADULTERY, HOMOSEXUAL/LESBIAN, INCEST, BEASTIALITY, SODOMY…
these are DETESTABLE, an ABOMINATION to the LORD. They are REPUGNANT to
Him.
We are called to be HOLY. Leviticus 1:2 “Be holy because I, the LORD your God, Am holy.”
If we confess our sins, He is Just and Faithful to Forgive and Cleanse our sins. 1 John 1:9
"You are a Crown of Splendor in the LORD"s Hand, a Royal Diadem in the hand of your God." Isaiah 62:3.

I Am an Ambassador on Assignment
I believe I am an Ambassador on Assignment in Children's ministry...
This has been my journey....
What amazes me about this assignment is that I never thought I would ever be a Sunday School Teacher. I never saw any quality of a sunday school teacher in me. First, I was very impatient, high irritability, had no teaching skills and not so creative with kids.
In 2000, someone prophesied to me that I'd be a teacher. Sincerely I despised that prophesy and refused to consider it because I never saw myself being a teacher. When I finished High school, mama wanted to take me to a Teaching College and with support from my Uncle organized to have me enrolled at Egoji Teacher's College but I declined opting to take Community Development and Social Work.
In 2006 I did a Certificate Course in HIV/AIDS Training and Counseling with KYOEP, and was posted as a Tutor at some of their Training Centres at Madaraka West, Wangige and Kahawa West. During this period (of about 6 months) as a Tutor I really learned alot and aquired vast teaching skills. Interestingly, all my students were older than me. I remember at Wangige, my oldest student was 75yrs old. Some of the hardest classes were when when I was teaching about Sex and Sexuality and Condoms..... Those were my most challenging classes. During one of my classes, my oldest student said to me, "young girl, you are a great teacher. Very experienced and confident. Consider taking teaching as your profession." At that moment I remembered the Prophesy and I thought to myself, "what is God preparing me for?"
Later on, I went for a Kesha and my Youth pastor, Rev. Nyaoro was preaching. During the Prayer session, i went to ask him to pray for me. When he asked me what to pray for,I told him I wanted to know my ministry. He looked at me and said, "I see a gift of teaching in you..." Again that confirmed God's word. I was in denial and I didn't like the idea of seeing myself as a Primary or High School Teacher... That's how short sighted I was!
In April 2007, I had a strong desire/passion to join Children's ministry in my local church. I talked to the Sunday School Director- Mrs. Mwangi and requested her to let me participate in the VBS week. It was an awesome experience teaching Kids God's word. Since then, no other ministry excites me like being in a Sunday School Class. I have gone for missions in many Primary & High Schools, Colleges and University to teach God's word. Now the Prophecy makes sense :)
I'm grateful to God. It has been an exciting journey as well as challenging.
- I have grown to acknowledge and appreciate that indeed I am an Ambassador on Assignment:
- I'm an official messenger
- I have a special mission/task to get Jesus to the Children of the world
- I Represent the will of my Sovereign King
- I'm send with total support
- I'm guaranteed protection and security
I have learned to:
Be patient, to love unconditionally, to serve, to be humble, to control anger etc.
I have a Dream- Children ministry. so here comes the Dreamer

Day 11- Resolve to Inquire of the Lord
Dear child of the Most High God,
Is there a vast army come against you? Has it caused you any alarm? What have you resolved to?
There are times I have been faced with battles that are "too urgent", a time have been tempted to hit back ASAP.... Sometimes have even forgotten to INQUIRE of the Lord... I don't know how many can identify with me but I must say every time I have gone on a battle without enquiring of the Lord I've lost it. I have come to learn the key to victory in life lies in daily communion with God.
Jeremiah 29:12-14 says, "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.."
Jehoshaphat was in such a state, 2 Chronicles 20: vs 1 "... the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites came to wage war against Jehoshaphat. 2 Some people came and told Jehoshaphat, “A vast army is coming against you... It is already in Hazezon Tamar” 3 Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. 4 The people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek Him...."
#1# Your Help comes from the Lord, seek Him and He will grant you victory. The battle belong to Him.
Vs. 20 says, the people of Judah left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in His prophets and you will be successful.”
#2# Have FAITH
Vs 21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise Him for the splendour of His holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever.” vs. 22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
#3# PRAISE God even in the Storm
vs. 24 When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped. 25 So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found—more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it. 26 On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berakah, where they praised the Lord... 27 Then, led by Jehoshaphat, all the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned joyfully to Jerusalem, for the Lord had given them cause to rejoice over their enemies. 28 They entered Jerusalem and went to the temple of the Lord with harps and lyres and trumpets.
29 The fear of God came on all the surrounding kingdoms when they heard how the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel. 30 And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side.
#4# God has given you REST on every side... PRAISE the LORD Joyfully.
I resolve no matter what happens in my life, I will INQUIRE of the LORD. I will SEEK HELP from Him.
With Love

Day 10 Journey on Faith- "All things are possible with God." (Mark 10:27)
Dear Friend,
How many times have you ever sought the Lord for something and when the Lord spoke you were in doubt?
What happened?
Luke 1:
The Bible says that Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous in the sight of God yet they were childless.
They sought the Lord about this issue and one day when Zechariah was on duty serving the Lord, an angel of the Lord announced vs 13“Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. 14 He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, 15 for he will be great in the sight of the Lord.."
When Zechariah's prayer for a son was finally answered, announced in a personal visit by an angel, Zechariah still doubted God's word. vs 18 Zechariah asked the angel, “How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.”
How many times have we doubted God?
Goodnews
God can work in our life in spite of any circumstance. Things may look hopeless, but stand on God's word "All things are possible with God." (Mark 10:27, NIV)
If He said He will heal your diseases and sickness, he will do it.
If He said He will be with you in the storm, be still and Know that He is God.
If He said He will restore your family, wait patiently He will heal and restore the broken relationships.
If He said He will give you a spouse, every perfect gift comes from Him, Wait in Him He will do it
If He said He will bless the work of your hands as you honor him with your wealth, the He will fill your barns to overflowing and your vats will brim over.
If He said He will do it... trust Him, He is faithful and able to do it....
Do NOT DOUBT
God is able to do what He said He will do, don't give on Him.
I say WAIT, WAIT in the Lord.

The Battle is the Lord's
Day 7.. Journey on Faith.
1 Samuel 17:38-51 David and Goliath..
Indeed it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; The battle is the Lord's. The whole assembly will know that you have a God.
Have FAITH and CONFIDENCE in God, He will fight your Battles.
vs 45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”
If you feel buffeted right left and center, don't loose Hope. God is fighting your battles. He has fought for me before, even now and in the days to come I know He will fight for me. He has done it for me, He can and will do it for you.

Day 6 Journey on Faith
Journey on Faith
Joshua 3:1-17 Crossing Jordan Experience...
vs 3-4"When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go..."
1. The Ark of Covenant is a symbol of God's presence. To triumph in this life, we need the Presence of God to guide us.
2. No one has an encounter with God's presence and remains in the same position... there is a shifting.
3. Consecrate yourselves- the Act of Consecration point to the principle that God will not Act powerfully in our behalf if we are not inwardly clean and aligned to His will. Before we ask God to perform Signs and wonders in our midst, we must make sure our hearts are pure and desires guided by His Holy Spirit.
4. The waters of Jordan stood in a heap...they walked on a dry ground..This miracle provided clear evidence that the living God was among His people and it strengthened their faith so they could face the challenge of possessing the promised land.
Finally, in this Journey of Faith.. essentials:
- God's Presence
- Consecration
- Faith
- Obedience

"There is still more.."
Joshua 13:1 Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord said unto
him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much
land to be possessed. .. vs 6 All the inhabitants of the hill
country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I
drive out from before the children of Israel:.
God has more in store
for you and me; though a times there could be some challenges, If you will
remain obedient to God and believe that He is a Faithful Promise Keeper, you
will inherit whatever He has promised. There is still more “Land” to be
possessed. Whatever the challenge, “God will drive them out before you.”
Through the story of
Caleb, Joshua and the other ten spies, I’ve come to realize that there are
three levels of living namely, See it, Say it & Seize it.
The See
it level is
Faith's opportunity.
We can al b looking
from the same spot & not see the same thing.
When Moses send out
twelve spies to explore the land, (Num
13) ..Caleb and Joshua brought back a good report of the land
but, because the other 10 spies brought back a bad report, the people did not
want to enter the promised land. As a result, the Israelites stayed another 37
years in the desert before entering the Promised Land.
The twelve spies were
all looking from the same spot, but they all saw different things. Num
13:6 They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole
Israelite community at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. There they reported to
them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land.27They
gave Moses this account: "We went into the land to which you sent us, and
it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. 28But the people who
live there are powerful and the cities are fortified and very large. We even
saw descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites live in the Negev;
the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the
Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan."
30 Then Caleb
silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take
possession of the land, for we can certainly do it."
31 But the men who
had gone up with him said, "We can't attack those people; they are
stronger than we are.
The Say it level is the Faith's world. This is where you verbally commit yourself
to what has gripped your vision; Caleb saw a land flowing with milk and honey.
He saw it, believed it and he confessed the possibility of taking possession of
the land
The Seize it level-this is where faith
becomes Action, it’s mo than verbiage and more than vision. It's the
Action stage.
Forty five years later,
in Joshua 14: 6 “Then the children of Judah came unto
Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb.. said unto Joshua, Thou knowest the thing that the
Lord said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea. 7 Forty
years old was I when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadeshbarnea to
spy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. 8 Nevertheless my brethren that went up
with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the Lord my
God...
10 And now, behold, the Lord hath kept me alive, as he said, these
forty and five years, even since the Lord spake this Word.. And now, lo, I am
this day fourscore and five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as I
was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength
now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.12 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof
the Lord spake in that day; .. if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall
be able to drive them out, as the Lord said. 13 And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto
Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.
Don't expect a whole
crowd of people to gather around you, waving banners and patting you on the
back sometime you've to step out alone just like Caleb and Joshua did! They had
a different spirit.
Do you want to take
possession of the vast land yet to be possessed? You got to have a different
spirit. Be obedient to God. Have Faith in the Promise Keeper. Don’t let any
Physical, Emotional, Spiritual or whatever kind of obstacle hinder you from
your destiny.

The Greatest Blessing in Life
What is the greatest Blessing in life??
Psalm 5:12 says, "Surely, Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield."
Let's take a journey.
In the bible, Blessing is depicted as a mark of God’s relationship with a person or nation. It is a sign of God’s grace upon them.
The LORD God Almighty is the SOURCE. True blessings come from the LORD. Actually, Proverbs 10:22 states that the Blessings of the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrow with it.
Who is Blessed?
The GREATEST and MOST Important blessing in this life is to be CHOSEN by God to be His people. Psalm 65:4 Blessed are those You choose and bring near to live in Your courts! We are filled with the good things of Your house, of Your holy temple.
John 15:16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to

Deut 7:7-8 The LORD chose you not because in any way you deserved it, but simply because He LOVED you.
This blessing is a great honor and privilege.
To be Blessed by the LORD is more than just wealth.
Psalm 33:12, Blessed is the nation or person whose God is the LORD, the people He CHOSE for His inheritance. This Great Blessing knows no sorrow.
I have been born again for more than 12years now, the Spiritual Journey hasn't been without twists and turns, ups and downs but I have no regrets. It is the greatest miracle I've ever had. To be Chosen by God, not because I deserved or or I was better... Salvation is a mark of God's Grace upon me, such a great Blessing indeed.
This Gift of salvation comes with other benefits as Psalm 5:12a states that he LORD blesses the righteous.
The kind of blessing is not specified here because God's blessings are unlimited.
here are some of the other benefits that come with the Blessing of Salvation:
- Holy Spirit Joel 2:28
- Favor Ps 5:12b
- Peace Ps 29:11
- Health and Healing Jer 33:6
- Forgiveness and Cleansing of Sin and Restoration Ez 36:25-26
- And much more...

YOU ARE DIVINELY CHOSEN AND APPOINTED TO BEAR FRUIT THAT LAST.
Reading John
15:1-17 we get introduced to the GARDENER,
the VINE and the BRANCHES.
Vs
16
says, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear
fruit-fruit that will last.”
Jesus is the VINE and His Father is the Gardener and
we His disciples are the Branches.
The Branch must stay connected to the Vine always
and at all times. Vs 5 says, “I am the VINE; you are the BRANCHES. If a man
remains in Me and I in him, he will bear MUCH FRUIT; apart from Me you can do
Nothing.
If you want to be fruitful in your life, the first
and most important thing is that you MUST be CONNECTED to the Vine (Jesus).
Vs 2 says, the Gardener (God the Father) CUTS OFF every
branch in the Vine that bears no fruit. It is evident; God is not in the
business of keeping us in the VINE if we are not willing and ready to be
fruitful. You are not a statistic in the
kingdom of God, God requires that you bear fruit and not just fruit but good
fruit that will last. God has already given you the potential to be fruitful. He
also PRUNES the Branch that does not bear fruit.
What is pruning and
what are the reasons for pruning?
Pruning is
a horticultural practice involving the selective removal of parts of a plant, such as branches, buds, or roots. Reasons to prune plants
include deadwood removal, shaping (by controlling or directing growth),
improving or maintaining health, reducing risk from falling branches, preparing nursery specimens for transplanting, and both harvesting and increasing the yield
or quality of flowers and fruits.
The
practice entails targeted removal
of diseased, damaged, dead, non-productive, structurally unsound, or otherwise
unwanted tissue from crop and landscape plants.
Note from the above definition, the
pruning process is SELECTIVE and also TARGETED. I believe the process of
pruning in our lives is purposeful. The Gardener (our Father) is very careful
and intricate when cutting the branches. God is the perfect Pruner who has
watched us grow, ever so patient clipping, cutting and forming us as He
desires. He has watched us grow and He perfectly knows all the unsafe,
unhealthy and unfruitful characteristics in our lives. He desires to prune
those habits, characters, attitudes and perceptions that hinder us from growing
and being fruitful according to His will.
While the process of pruning is meant to be
fruitful, it is not without pain. James 1:1-4 says, count it PURE JOY whenever
we face TRIALS of MANY KINDS, because you know that the testing of your FAITH
develops PERSEVERANCE. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be
MATURE and COMPLETE, not lacking anything. Spiritual pruning will produce the
following characteristics: patience, endurance, steadfastness, refinement as unto
silver and gold Mal 3:3, perseverance,
character, experience and hope- Rom
5:3-4 also, it displays the faithfulness on God
Finally, John 15:7-8 says, “If you remain in me and
my words remain in you, ASK whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” That’s
the promise of the Father.
It is for His GLORY that you bear fruit vs 8. Your responsibility
is:
1. Constantly
stay connected to the VINE
2. Allow
God to prune you.
3. Maintain
close relationship with God through
prayer, Worship, Praise and Word
4. Be
sure to obey His commands- Loving one another.
Be fruitful for God’s glory.

Appreciating my Pastors
"And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love.” (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13)
The Clergy are men & women like other folk. They are imperfect, have shortcomings, get cranky, and are not always rock solid 24 hours a day. They get weary from wearing so many hats: preparing sermons, counseling, attending board meetings, preparing for Weekly and Sunday services, going on visitations, spending time with the family, making major decisions for family and ministry issues, etc.
The best we can do to support these men and women of God is to:
Today I take this opportunity to salute, respect and appreciate all the men and women who have sacrificially given themselves to serve the LORD with diligence.
Particularly, i want to applaud my PASTORS/MENTORS...
Bishop Mwatha- A friend of all and a man of wisdom.
Rev Irungu- i just love the way you preach without mincing words, you are a blessing.
Rev Alfred Nyaoro- I didn't know I had the Ministry of Teaching until you prophesied it over me in one kesha sitawahi sahahu- u challenged me to take up the ministry and now, this far i have come, I JUST LOVE and ENJOY Children Ministry. You inspired me Thank you. Mom Maria, you are more than a friend- I luv you sana-unajua vile umekuwa ukinibariki-the encouragements)
Rev G, you also added so much value in my life- The first time, you saw Leadership skills in me and appointed me Leader in Tupos class and later on P57 Class and Youth service committee, You laid hands on me (can't forget the sermon- from 1 Tim 1:6- For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands)
Pastor Guchu, am proud to have you, thanks for always checking up on me and praying for me. Umekuwa wa baraka sana ( Just remembering the days when i was in high school and i used to come for the Worship team Keshaz-Kweli tumetoka mbali)
Pastor Kogi, I will forever be grateful- thank you for allowing God to use you- High School ministry has been a real joy since 2007- My first opportunity you gave me to minister at PEFA WEST DISTRICT Youth Convention at Ngando PEFA and at Kyieni.
Pastor Collins, i still remember the humble beginnings ( going to Dr. Aggrey,Muslim, Pumwani, St Brigits, Child survival primary schools and St Johns seeking for opportunities to preach in their PPI sessions- that zeal was really an inspiration. You gave me the courage and inspired the passion in me)
My Colleagues in Sunday school Ministry- You guyz ROCK. I luv, Respect and Appreciate you for your endless sacrifice and support in the ministry
Lastly and not least, all the members of Commissioners For Christ Ministry- Karumba'z, Mukui'z, Job'z the least is endless- You have all been such a blessing in my life.
I Humbly Salute and Appreciate these people for the sacrificial service for our LORD Jesus Christ.
I may not have Gold and Silver to give you all but i want you to know I LUV, RESPECT and APPRECIATE YOU.
Luv
Kachel
