I just read Ezekiel 37:1-14-the Valley of Dry Bones.
As I picture the (very) dry bones, scattered all over the valley. I'm trying to get this... there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I see the, tendons and flesh appearing on them and skin covering them and God's breath of life in them!
I cannot fathom this wonder. I am in awe! How could (very) dry bones live?
I hear the man of God Ezekiel prophesying God's word to the dry bones saying, "Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!" This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: 'I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life'."
Looking at this situation there was no hope of life but imagining the sudden movement, the rattling sound, the restoration and reconstruction of bones to a skeleton and finally God breathing on them life.... That was Israel people! They were hopeless and felt cut off but thank the LORD (Covenant keeper), He had good plans for His people, Jeremiah 29:11.
Sometimes I feel like my life is there; on that valley of dryness but #AmHopeful.
When all hope is gone and God begins to reconstruct and restore your life, people will know He is LORD (Covenant Keeper). I'm a beneficiary of God's goodness. My life has taken shape courtesy of His unmerited grace. #GreaterThingsAreYetToCome.
Lot's o'luv,
Kachel
