BLESSED IS THE (WO)MAN WHO FEARS THE LORD

To fear the LORD is to have a loving reverence for God that includes submission to His Lordship and to the commands of His word. God is our King (Mal 1:4), but even as we stand in awe of Him we can rejoice

Prov 1:7 says,"The fear of the LORD is the begining of knowledge.."

Psalm 112 Blessed is the (wo)man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in His commands...
The following are some of the blessing the person who fears the LORD will enjoy:

  • His children will be mighty (persons of influence&reputation) in the land
  • His generation will be blessed
  • Wealth and riches are in His house
  • In darkness light dawns for him
  • Good (well-being & prosperity) will come to him
  • He will never be shaken; he will be remembered forever (an enduring memorial of honor)
  • He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD
  • His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will triumph on his foes.
  • His horn will be lifted high in honor

Psalm 128:1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in His ways.

Psalm 34:9 Fear the LORD you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.

Prov 14:26 He who fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge. vs 27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death. Prov 10:27 The fear of the LORD adds length to life.

It's evident that there are blessing that we'll only enjoy if we fear God.

Fear God, it shall be well with you.

Regards& lots of luv
